If you wait until all modules are up to complete the map, you risk mismatches between where modules ended up and what the map shows, especially if the installation order or placement changes during mounting.

In contrast, a stand-alone rail-mounted inverter collects the module outputs at a centralized point, so the final wiring plan can depend on the completed layout of all modules. That’s why the map is often finalized after the full installation in that scenario, rather than incrementally.
