In CT measurements, you need to convert the current flowing in a circuit into meaningful energy data, and the Envoy does exactly that. It reads the current signal from the CTs, conditions and digitizes it, and then calculates energy-related values such as instantaneous power and energy over time. These results are then reported to the monitoring platform so you can track production, consumption, and grid interactions. The Envoy isn’t storing grid energy, powering the PV array, or suppressing signals—its role is to process the current signal and report the energy data.
